I'm going to be one HELL of a mother some day.

Yesterday, we went swimming after dinner. When we got home from swimming, I: Made the girls a bedtime snack Got them changed into their jammies. Helped them brush their teeth Read them three bedtime stories Tucked them in bed, so that they were waiting for goodnight kisses from their parents. With no fussing, whatsoever. Hell yeah, I’m good.

While I quick-stale some star shaped bread in order to make birdfeeders with the campers tomorrow. I couldn’t find any pine cones. :( So I’m cutting stars out of slices of bread and putting them in the oven for a little bit. Then tomorrow, the kids will put peanut butter on the bread and dip them in birdseed so they can hang them in the trees at home. How cute?!

It’s held at the local state park, and people went out tonight to string up tarps and stuff… …and my friend that goes there is not understanding why I am asking him so many questions. And he really doesn’t get why I don’t feel comfortable leaving stuff there, set up all week….it’s still a public...
